  • This is the reason I love John Mayer. Pisses me off when I tell people that John Mayer is a badass on the guitar and all they hear is his radio stuff. I'm like come see him live, it'll change your mind real quick.

  • yeh, it's like no one knows he can play, they just think he's all pop tunes and smooth lyrics, the hardcore fans know! and that's us! Rock on! :-)

  • @nwesterfeld he's huge.. like 6'3'' or somewhere around there, give or take.... But yeah. That's an L-5. But you already know that xD

  • I hope (and don't think) that this man will ever cease to amaze me. Every show that he does is so filled with his spirit that it's worth looking at the same song from different concerts all night. This is truly one of - if not the - best live performers ever. I was not alive to see Hendrix or SRV but I sure am happy to be alive to see John.

  • Amen to that!

  • right on! Amen to that!

  • damm right you are!

  • It's so nice that john is bringing the blues to the ears of people around the world who never heard it.

Yeah, he makes a lot of pop songs, and have a lot of chicks that love him just for the looks and money, but he is a great player, and he is spreading good music, that's what matters for me.

  • that l5 is BEAUTIFUL

  • Actually, this isn't a cover of Ain't Nobody's Bizness by BB King. That's a different song. It's an old standard called Ain't Nobody's Business If I Do, made famous by Otis Spann, Eric Clapton, and Billie Holiday. Bessie Smith was actually the first to record it, I believe.

That being said, i love it! :) hehe He changes the lyrics a lot, but that keeps it interesting. And I agree with BSos32, I wish everyone could see him live. The general public have no idea what they're missing out on!

  • "if i should, play in a shirt without no sleeves, and everybody in the crowd gets up and leaves - ain't nobody's business if i do"

  • I honestly think that the original artists should let him do his own covers of their songs. He does a pretty good job at em.
