Food For The Poor has an extensive infrastructure in Haiti. Our constant awareness of the import regulations, as well as our consistent diligence in fulfilling all custom requirements in a timely and efficient manner, enable us to get supplies expedited as quickly as possible for distribution to the people who need it the most.
Through its feeding center and warehouses in Haiti, Food For The Poor feeds more than 20,000 destitute Haitians every day. Food For The Poor also regularly supplies food to thousands of schools, orphanages, churches, hospitals and other groups on the island.
That is not a fact, I would like for people to stop posting and spreading lies. However there is something call "TE" which is Creole, in English it is translate as dirt, but it is NOT. It just the name of that specific thing SOME pregnant woman ate to stop vomiting. My dad worked as a Doctor in a place call Deschapelles in Haiti. I have been in Haiti several times. The "te" taste like butter and salt. I will not say it's healthy, but the general publics do not eat it.
