Our 2011 Christmas tree and train display showing some of our collection of Porcelain Houses.

The tree is a pre-lit artificial tree with a custom made hand painted trunk. Used to always use Real trees, but needed it last a little longer since we put so much time in to it.

The very top level is Santa's Village with elves hard at play along with Santa himself in front of his house, the Toy Shop, and other buildings.

The second level is our resort area with ice skating and lodges with a wilderness and hunting Cabin of to the side.

The main town is on the 1st level with a frozen water fall and icy river along the mills and spilling down into the harbor below.

The harbor is made of Plexiglas and plastic resin. Although it is hard to see in the video, there are sea creatures and a sunken pirate ship below the water with just the tip of the mast protruding above the water.

We Hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas!

  • Unbelievable, you have left nothing out, love the ice skaters, ships on the water, lights in all the windows, it must have taken 4ever to set that up, totally blown away!!!

  • @Bopbeepbd Thanks, and yes this year it did take some time because I had added the a 3rd train around the outside and built in the ice skating pond. I cut up an old plastic ice skating display and used the parts to build it into my display and I had to rip long 2x4s in to thin strips and glue them together into a curve for my long railroad bridge.

It all dissembles into small manageable pieces that are stored in a shed out back during offseason. It should not take long to set up next year.

  • Brilliant, where do you exhibit, surely you are famous for your work!!! Truly gifted

  • @Bopbeepbd Thank you for the flattering comment, you are too kind.

Although it has been suggested that I set it up as a store display someplace, I only display it in my living room for family and friends. It has always been a favorite for the neighborhood kids over the years. Now the older neighborhood kids are bringing their own children over to enjoy it.

  • awesome video I enjoyed it

  • @pwalpar thanks for watching
