@sarah83summers This happened in 1986. Steve and Kayla had just returned from helping RoJohn get Marlena back from Orpheus. Steve refused to smuggle some emeralds for an old acquaintance of his in Stockholm. He left the jacket in his hotel room for the guy to come get but Kayla saw it and took it believing that they had forgotten it. Then they were searched at the airport but Kayla hid the jewels. This was also just before Steve and Kayla's first kiss.

I think this was right after they got back from stockholm in 1986, this was right before their first kiss i beleive..
