As the world's first luxury performance sedan with hydrogen drive, the BMW Hydrogen 7 runs on the most plentiful element in the world and emits virtually nothing but water vapor.
I'm sure it's a different Grant Warwick. Besides, what's wutter? I'm not ready to put maple syrup into my fuel tank. Sorry, but I think it would be too expensive.
What do I care that you can sell my a Hydrogen Combustion car in 50 years...if the oil companies decide to build your infastructure for you. Sell me a car that gets decent gas mileage and has low emissions today...oh right BMW, you don't. So shut the fuck up until you have a product that will meet the needs of the modern environmental consumerism movement...not the one a half century from now. You know what else runs on water? Douches. And that's what you are.
"ready for the world, when the world is ready." What a condescending tagline. What the world is ready for now is transitional technology, plugin hybrids, electric cars. There isn't the infastructure for hydrogen fuel cell or hydrogen combustion vehicles, and there won't be for a very long time. So lets stop spending so much energy on them, and lets build more plugin hybrids eh? Cause you know, BMW doesn't offer a single one.
A Glimpse into the Future. I hope it will become common in a short period of time.

For the US market, the 335d gets excellent gas mileage :)
Also, MPG depends much more on driving style than the actual mechanics. My Porsche 911 S gets around 25 mpg.
