The problem with gay marriage equality is there is no problem.

Religious zealots always manage to come out of the wood works whenever there is danger of people being happy and enjoying life.

Religious nut jobs are the ones calling for war and insisting everyone should be afraid of whatever they tell you to be afraid about.

There is no "truth" about bigotry. It is what it is. People hating people for trivial reasons, but hating them nonetheless. Blame God, blame your "beliefs", you're still a bigot. You need to own your bigotry, otherwise you cannot ask to be respected for it.

The same "beliefs" were blamed when segregation was championed "on religious grounds". As was opposition to interracial marriage and an end to slavery. Hatred and discrespect can not be reconciled with any "truths". Bigotry is indefensible.
