How I achieve a 'relaxed look' on my natural hair.
This video is for ladies that 'don't relax' or 'are trying not to relax' their hair, for whatever reason. Also for those who are simply trying to buy time between relaxers. Ok, so this video is for EVERYONE! Ha!

Going natural for me was simply about not wanting to put such a harsh chemical onto my head, or anywhere else for that matter. How can a product that you're supposed to wear gloves to apply be any good for you?

I'm slowly making my way towards organic shampoos and conditioners as well.

I know plenty of women that have thought about going natural, but really love wearing their hair straight. I dedicate this video to you!

*Flat Iron on about 300 for this video. 400 is optiminal tho, and what I'm using now.

Products used: Cantu Shea Butter Super Shine hair silk, Motions Smoothing Serum, Remington T Studio Tourmaline+Ceramic+Titanium., 1875 Pro Styler Dryer w/ Tourmaline. 20 mule team borax, Burts Bees Shampoo & Conditioner

  • cute! And I had no idea your hair was that long till you flatironed it

  • @TurnTheWorldAroundTV Ponytail in the beginning of the vid, sorry to confuse.

  • this was very helpful

  • @xXTrakkStarrXx Always the greatest compliment I can receive. Thank you.

  • Thank you, I went natural 15 yrs ago, and I like that there is something other than braiding and twisting my hair. I will definitely try this thank you.

  • @AHSAIYUKI Isn't having so many hair options, wonderful? I love it!

15 years?! Goodness gracious! Oh, how I wish I had went natural that long ago! My hair would be way down my back! :D

  • @emiliabrown15 I'm sorry, where are you getting your information from? I'm pretty sure MY video says nothing about "spending hours straightening" my hair. It takes me less than 15 mins to blow dry, and no more than 40 mins to flat iron, which is about the same time it took me when I was relaxing. Or did you not know that most ppl that relax their hair still have to blow dry and flat iron to get the desired straight look?

  • @TheBlahblah135 Thanks, but I don't wear the glasses to try to improve my appearance, they're prescription.

  • @lavilada That's all I ever wanted to do. Thank YOU.

  • @Afrikaisi731 thanks.

  • @118118Lola Every time I wash it, if I'm going for the straight look, which is 90% of the time.

  • @luana913 You should really not be telling me what to do with MY hair. This video is 2 years old. You're commenting like it was made yesterday, and assuming that I don't know the risks involved with relaxed hair ends. Watch the second video.

  • You should really cut those relaxed ends if you want length you will never achieve that with those "fried" ends. They continue to break off as your hair grows form the root. There is not that much to trim off and your hair will be a lot healthier too.

  • Turned out nice...Good job!

  • happy YouTube(ing) lol...
