Home Owner Associations are way out of control. They can sue the owners but the owners (as they have it written in the Declaration of Covenants) cannot sue the HOA. It is time to change that at a state level. Limit the power of HOA's and put them back to doing the job they should be doing. These are your neighbors who have become power happy at your expense. Limit their power.

I have a rental property in Beacon Woods the association is a pain, they are ALWAYS on you about something, even the bad spots in my yard, such crap.

Congrats to The property owners that stood up for themselves against this asinine complaint for a non existent violation..hope that BWE~HOA Board Members are happy to have spent thousands & thousands of $ dollars $ paying legal fees to the shithead attorney that pursued this for what ...almost 3 yrs, I hope you get every cent back you spent defending Yourself against this ridiculous BS!!!! Guess now BWE Board Members can't claim fame for "never losing a lawsuit" ppphhhttt!

the guy has a hell of nerve having tall hedges; he should be waterboarded, beaten, tortured and jailed for 200 years. I mean what's the sense in putting rapists, child murderers, gangsters etc in jail when the guys with tall hedges should be rotting in prison?? These condo boards serve a VALUABLE service, putting guys with tall hedges out of their homes and in the Big House
