These days, most of us talk about how much we loathe politicians (and understandably so). We look at our economy, the wars, and we ask why we keep putting these people in Congress?
Not the case with Gabby Giffords. Even before this shooting happened she was highly respected as one of the most non-partisan and honest members in Congress. She represents the kind of politicians we want MORE OF in Washington. That she is leaving means we are losing one of the very few good ones. A sad day indeed.
