They cannot beat me as long as I have Defensive Stance, Hold Fast and Elven Duress.

I use Elrond, cause he has very high defense.

Yep. It seems that the only real way to destroy them is with Curse of the Dead, and that's if your're lucky enough to have good ol' Aragorn with you.
