  • Sarah Palin " the quitter ?" Thank God that Bimbo isn't in office. No one with an ounce of intelligence should pay attention to her.

  • Boycott an international climate treaty?? Ook... Why not just refuse to submit it to the Senate or whatever? At least try to make it palatable. Don't admit defeat and be like, "Can't change it! It's a crap treaty. Let's just stay away and not attend." That's the wuss thing to do.

  • Matador, a group of 31,000 scientists signed a letter that said global warming is a hoax. But, obama insists that the 2,500 that believe in global warming are right. I think I will go with the greater number. Oh and one other thing, you use " climate change" rather than "global warming." Those that cannot prove global warming change it's name for convenience.

  • @thorazini -- yeah, just like you can't 'prove' Darwinian evolution, or that dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid. You just have a lot a lot of evidence that shows both theories are most likely true. Theories, by definition, are the synthesis of facts. It doesn't mean that a theory has to be proven to be true. Theories synthesize facts into a coherent narrative. And this theory so convincingly explains the corroborating data, that it is overwhelmingly accepted by the scientific world.

  • Science works this way; A hypothysis is formed. Then a true scientist makes an attempt to prove it wrong. Pardon my spelling.

No one can prove that "global warming" is real. Also, no one can prove it is man-made. So "they" re-named it " climate change" hoping that "they" can inact laws that make rich men richer and tax those who believe this crap.

  • Enough with this silly ideas of "saving the earth".

You all are pawns in a handfull of people that either making billions(Al gore) or with people that have the agenda of seizing power.

These people are the old comunists that got defeated all over easern europe and like the TBC virus mutated themselves to adapt to 21 century.

  • Because I'd rather save the earth for my children and theirs and even yours. Why don't you answer?

  • you sound like a hippie same talk different decade

  • list how.

  • And without the slash and burn technique of cultivating trees, perhaps the world would be fit to fight such natural cycles. or the plants destroyed in wetlands from our drudging. Do I need to go on? By the way, Do you think your car is good for the world? do you also understand the rate of population growth? the numbers are staggering! Progress is always thrwarted by those benefitting from the current. (i.e. pharma, oil, ins. co.,) check your lobyist numbers!

  • I am often baffled by people that do not "believe" in the notion of climate change and our involvement. I admit, scientists could be wrong (by the way, there are not many scientists that disagree; real working scientists). i admit the chance. now you admit the chance that your "belief" is wrong. Whose wrong has the greater consequence? Now breathe deep and stop the opposing noise and lets take whatever steps we can to slow it.

  • dlwke2. I am not an Obama supporter. I recently finished reading the health bill (have you?) Palin made comments prior to being able to read the bill, first of all. As a citizen I take offense to any leader that cannot perform the duties she was ellected to do. Beyond that, where in the bill does it state these things? and how is it different from 2003's bill? As for climate change, if you do not believe our pollution makes a difference on earth, please advertise your name to take credit.
