thanks, the problem I have with putting more holes in was that i could never get a segment long enough to make putting more holes seem realistic and I tried putting a red hot metal rod into it to try to hollow out the closed space but it just cracked.

well bamboo needs a lot of lime or aka acidic soil so if there is not a good amount of that then the bamboo could do badly.

I dont have bamboo growing in my area strong enough to make a ncie instument....where could i get them? i live on a relaly wet island and the bamboo just grows really brittle. Guess itsa diferent kind of cane....anyhelp plz?
