what? no they didn't....the Enhanced ("new") scale was in effect before this tornado even occurred...the Greensburg tornado was, however, the first to be declared an EF-5 using the new scale...

A tornado was headed for Greensburg this year but thankfully the tornado passed them over. I saw this on the discovory channel.

regurding the diaster of the greensberg tornado that wiped the whole of greensberg down to the carpet that is a hell of a good view of it all welldone!
