What an incredible poet, musician and intrepid soldier in the War on Stupid.
Brilliant prophetic genius. He's now in the last stages of his physical form as Captain Beefheart with each tick of the clock taking him closer to his reunification with undifferentiated Everything. Beyond his unique, incomparable artistry........his lack of commercial success is more than sufficient evidence of his superiority.

That vacuum cleaner looks suspiciously familiar. My grandma had one of similar design. In my early childhood, It often served as my imaginary Flash Gordon spaceship.

@yesfan951 Wesley Willis also did "Girls On Film", which is a Duran Duran tune.

Nobody made music so distinctive as Don. I saw him and the magic band play live and sat there amazed that real people could play that music live with so much energy & humor like they were a bunch of alien magicians casting a spell. I am forever a fan!

dude i just recently started appreciating some of the other beefheart, too like, space-age couple is so relevant today unbelievably so called people out on the public expression of support for environmentalism and personal restrictive choices while being ignorant of simple shit like gardening on your own property instead of supporting the organic food industry before any of it really existed

R.I.P. Don, we'll all miss your vision and inspiration

I wish Wesley Willis would have done a cover of this. The Captain's voice sounds oddly like Mr. Willis' on this track.

Lol, I've only seen willis cover one artist, and that was the Beatles. Hmmm... Beefheart and Wesley Willis... Now that would sound interesting!
