Absolutely ridiculous. Bullying the player to go on - especially as this was done with 1 pair, and then 2 pairs of boxes, which she declined.

Comes off as very desperate of the show to start filling it with gimmicks and the theme weeks practically every other week. Let's dress up in stupid costumes and give some players twists in gameplay that other players don't get!

I hear ratings are going down, I can't say I'm surprised. To think I used to love this show... its a shadow of its old self.

@JamesJimmaHarding I agree I watched and enjoyed her game on 40d, but apart from that ive found it a huge bore for a long time. It lost pretty much all of its tension years ago and now relies on various gimmicks to make the show interesting. Edmonds pratting around and the pointless padding are a definite turn off too. With falling ratings, it just seems the show is getting desperate.

A shame as I used to love it. I guess its a symptom of C4's track record of overkill of popular shows.

I didn't like the gimmick at the end either, You could tell they were getting desperate for a feel-good ending after a run of dull/unsatisfactory game. As much i love DoND, It just isn't the show it used to be, it just isn't.

Having said that, i think May was a pretty good month for the show with Suzanne's 250k win, Kerry-Ann's near-250k win etc.
