  • @jgizzy Hi There, I recently learned also of the importance of Iodine with regard to reducing pain. I heard one of the doctors/experts in this research that stated if everyone had adequate levels of Iodine (not just for thyroid anymore/research shows we need full body saturation as every cell has an iodine receptor site) that there would be no need for pain medications. Anyway...take a look at the research at iodine4health and listen to the audio interviews there as well. Good luck.

  • @JasonBunting me too.only taking 200 iu of vitamin d has stopped me from getting colds, before using the D i used to catch 2-3 colds a year

  • Your body will naturally make 10,000 IU of vitamin D after 30 minutes of sunbathing in a "southern climate". If you aren't going to do this, or live in a northern climate, you will want to supplement to get up to this "normal" level. Many of us pretty much live indoors nowdays and use sunscreen (or cover ourselves) whenever we go out.--which is not "natural" behavioiur. This is where supplementation comes in.

  • Thank you for the video. I am taking around 4000 IU a day now, this is the 1st week, I hope it helps my joint feel better soon or else I am going to have to quit my job.

  • I get sick easily during the winter, up until this last winter - started taking 4,000 IU of D-3 every day, half in AM, half in PM; I have not been sick with cold or flu at all in the last 6 mos. While anything is possible, I personally don't believe this is a coincidence; my kids are sick practically once a month, and I do not distance myself from them at all.

Either way, the cost is so low that you have little risk in trying it, and you may end up feeling better for it.

  • UVA can cause skin cancer, it penitrates the skin 6x more then UVB. UVB is where you get the vitamin D from and I doubt anyone can ever get "too much". UVC is a germ killing UV, (about all I know about that one).

  • And also, why is it low, because we are told, keep out of the sun, skin cancer, wonder if that is a con, like global warming, swine flu, 911, Iraq war, Financial crisis, seeing a pattern yet.

  • And it is God given natural, not man getting some chemicals together and mixing them up and so on and bang, lovely vaccine, this one we claim will stop such and such.

However some of these toxins do more harm than good.

So cheers for this, natural always the way to go.

    Blessings, Lee.

  • unofficial sources have suggested that this 4000 unit daily dose of vitamin d is the best defense against seasonal flu virus infection. the link is the lack of sunlight exposure in the fall to spring. megadoses of 400,000 units are given for treatment of flu virus. clearly flu vaccine is not specific to a current strain. vitamin d3 at 4000 units daily taken 4-6 months of the year is a minor expense compared to any prescription medication and probably far more effective.
