Gary Glitter was a famous, 'Glam Rock', singer in the early part of the 70's. In hindsight, watching his videos in the context of what he did later on in his life, is indeed creepy. Particularly when you apply the lyrics of his songs to the crimes he committed. You can look at it from a cynically comical point of view, I guess. But, back in the 70's he was considered a serious artist who had many hits.
