The world is worse off with the loss of such a good human being who happened to have a wonderful voice. I doubt he ever hurt a soul in his life. I liked this guy a lot. Im glad we still have all of your music to cherish John. Personally, I will miss you very much.

I always loved John Denver, from the very first time I heard him right up to now. He stood for something, and loved with his whole being. I think we could all learn alot from him.

During the late 70s, I lived in Aspen...and one fall afternoon I saw John Denver sing from the back of a flatbed truck in a sun-dappled meadow, performing for no money, but just to benefit the kids at a camp for deaf children. I tell you now, whether you like his songs or don't, every word John Denver sang came from his heart...every song was true to who he was. His music inspires me to try to be just a tiny fraction as genuine as he was. If that's what it means to be "uncool", sign me up!

The beautifully seductive voice of John Denver imparts somthing to each chord...a glimmer of hope perhaps. So very talented!! I remember when it was very uncool to like John Denver...I always felt they judged him without listening to the merits of each song...a message...a touching song that imparts a sense of reality in the telling of the story!!!
