@PipersGrip Far too few musicians in sessions tell these guys where to put their unwanted percussion . Michael and June have a perfect inbuilt rythm already there without him. I recently received an extremely abusive response when I posted a Yoytube comment saying that there was NO place for spoons in traditional music. It is almost politically incorrect to ask these interlopers not to join in a session they are not invited into.
