I made a video on my phone (so quality not very good) of us leaving Xela. We walked through the market to the bus station (always a colourful place) and boarded the bus, after a scramble to make sure our bags joined us, rather than being tied to the roof! As i mention in the video - these buses are driven by nut cases at a crazy rate of knots! Usually good fun though... :-)

  • We went to the Philippines to on this trip. The Jeepneys are great! Swimming with Whale Sharks in Southern leyte was a highlight too!

  • Muchas gracias.diSfrutamos mucho de tu pais y su gente.

  • I think traditionally people did use the buses for taking chickens etc to market. I didn't see any I must admit. Mainly just far more people than they were ever designed to carry!
