  • @raigekimaru te gua nin is awesome.. i tried it and i love it... really awesome tea...

  • @dragonheadofthewest

well, Taiwanese tea is by far the best, but as a 19 year old, college attending internet entrepreneur, I sometimes have to settle for lower grade teas. as far my favorite variety, I'd have to say the higher grades of High Mountain Oolong, but I'm also partial to Oriental Beauty. I've also tried Te Gua Nin (I don't know how to spell it lol, but I think this is at least how you pronounce it), and Iron Buddha and liked both, but I wasn't a huge fan of Dong Ding.

  • @raigekimaru were was my mind i totally forgot to ask you what your favorite taiwan tea is...do you also drink tea from china or only from taiwan?if so whats your favorite tea there?

  • @dragonheadofthewest

interestingly enough, I thought the same thing about oriental beauty the first time I tried it lol. the more I drank though, the more I like it. the taste is somewhat melancholy and makes me think of Fall for some reason, but in a good way =)

  • @raigekimaru oriental beauty is interesting too but i havent made up my mind yet if i like it or not.. its interesting but the taste is unfamiliar.... i dont know all other teas i have from taiwan always have a bitter taste not like tea but somehow like medicine, i dont know if i brewed it wrong or if i have gotten bad quality...

  • @raigekimaru at the moment pouchong, the other i either didnt have good quality or didnt brew it good. pouchong is also pretty good because in wen shan people are not allowed to have a big tea farm so you can always be sure to have at least not a cheap mass product but tea from real tea farmers...

  • @dragonheadofthewest

do you have a favorite variety of taiwanese tea?

  • @raigekimaru i love the nature in east asia so much, but in the western media they always fail to catch the verry beauty of it.. and when you listen about the tea farmers there in taiwan its so romantic some teafarms there are just operated by a man and his wife.. i mean taiwan must be the last paradise so awesome..

  • lol, Taiwan looks like a tea leaf =P

  • Taiwan high mountain tea is very good. You can get some for great price at ishopo
