I just bought it - does not work teh software now does not read any camera at all ! I got nothing I removed the software and r -installed it and nothig only audio- went to device manager in control panel and shows a yellow icon that there is a problem taht I cannot resolve ! aghhh any help out there?

@flail well it just so happens the C920 is for sale currently in the US, Canada, UK, and others. Just check out Logitech's website.

@atvrider7 thanks! now your link works and i've managed to install 5.7 beta. tested a video chat with my flatmate's laptop, couldn't tell if it was HD or not... I have a really strong computer. c920 sounds perfect, wish I could buy that! but in any case, I don't think the internet upload speed in israel would be be fast enough, you only get 1mb upload, even if you take 100mb download! too bad...

@flail If your computer can't handle the HD processing done, check out a camera which has the h264 chip built into it such as the FaceVision cameras which lightens the load off the computer's processor or wait a few months when the C920 comes out which has the chip built in and does 1920x1080 calling.

@flail skype 5.5, 5.6 and skype 5.7 beta support it Also if you are having problems not being able to broadcast HD or recieve HD (if the person you are talking to has an HD camera, it is either your computer cannot support HD or your internet. I can assure you that the C910 and skype 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7 beta does in fact broadcast and support true HD video, in addition skype will be using h264 video codec to improve the video quality further.

link says no beta versions are availale anymore, skype show this camera is "hd-skype verified" on their website, but i still can't use hd, any idea?
