Converted 8mm film of my grandfather's home movie clips showing ordinary life in and around Budapest in 1948.The video is interesting because it contains a clip of the destroyed Széchenyi Chain Bridge as seen from a car traversing a temporary bridge across the Danube. The video also shows the rubble that still existed several years after the war. The film is set to popular Hungarian music sung by, Miklós Vig. • Mi lehet most, a kisfiúval?

    Él-e még?

A nagyim most volt 86 éves.

Ő tud mesélni arról a korról.

    Vajon, a kisfiú is tudna?

  • @lizakgaborka Igen, még él a kisfiú

  • A Gellérthegy tetején teljesen épen a templom a monostorral. A királyi palota is még régi formájában. A Rákosi-Kádár kettős többet rombolt, mint a háború.

  • loved it!

  • Was the little boy being followed around with a backpack your grand father?
