Jay Black singing lead showing much power and great range. Released in 1965 as the "A" side to "Cara Mia". "Cara Mia" was actually the "B" side and became the monster hit. Background video is a scene from an Alfred Hitchcock classic.

I never really paid much attention to this song. I just now realized it was recorded at the same time as Cara Mia. Cara Mia is Jay's signature song, and my all time favorite. When you compare these 2 songs you can really hear the power and range of Jay's voice. He was really young then, maybe 26, and in the original recording of Cara Mia you can hear a fabulous " young " voice. In " When It's All Over ", done at the same time, you can really hear a mature, strong, powerful voice..just amazing!

@ontoppau2nite No, Cara Mia was originally the "B" side and when "When It's All Over" wasn't getting much airplay, the producer begged dj's from around the country to play Cara Mia and the rest is history. This is well documented when you read the history of Jay & Americans songs. Not my opinion, just fact.
