How much is the ecutek race rom?
-
@slcslobalt yea id be afraid of corrosion, rocks/salt flying up into the turbo or whatever, but ive now invested in a different project other then my daily subaru, now have a project drag car
-
@supersupra101 dont use sts rear mounts are shit and from the amount of money you would spend you could go grab a 2.0 from a wrx and do a swap with the turbo.
-
what kind of shop is that...performance parts?

Hey Al, Have you heard of the STS rear mounted turbo? I have a '05 subaru 2.5RS, and i've heard that the stock internals and combustion arent strong enough to support boost above 6-10psi. Figured you'd be the person to ask since your subaru knowledge is more reliable then some kid on a forum. Would you reccomend turbo'ing a N/A subaru with such a setup? or would just be a waste of time/money for the little gain? Any opinion, knowledge, or anything you have to say is well appreciated. Thanks

Is the FP pretty laggy for a 2.0 liter? I'm running a Ver8 swap in my bugeye and I want a new turbo, debating between an FP and a GT30/35. Anyways nice job on the tune, car pulls nice.

evo would probably still beat it, just doesnt wanna beat on his car

Hey AL how long does one of your tuning sessions usually take > I have been very loyal to my tuner but you man are too funny and have been putting out some good tuning for these guys. I am trading my '06 rex and picking up a new STi in a few months (2-3) and wanted it to bring it to you but I live a few hours away. (Reason why I wanted to get a time frame.

Time is no object at Dyno Flash. I take as long as it takes. Often 2 hours is a good starting point for a call that runs well with no issues. We work on a flat fee basis so no matter how long it takes to get it 100% perfect its the same price for you. Al
