BTW since you felt the need to turn from "Conversion Nazi" to "Grammar Nazi"...
I decided to give you some more of your medicine... You spelled "Configuration" wrong...
You spelled it "configuaration"...
Please be sure to work on your spelling from here on, into the future... It makes you look stupid, and is an insult to the language... ;)
(How does it feel being critiqued by a grammar nazi...? Does it piss you off...?)
-
Ha! Ha! "Conversion Nazi now becomes Grammar Nazi..."
Sorry dude... That you feel you now have to stoop to the critique of my Grammar, and lack of defining specific terms. I initially thought I was debating with someone here who has a strand of common sense.
Most people with some sort of "intellectual capacity" would know "RUSSIAN PARTS = FOREIGN" and "American parts = Non-Foreign", but I guess you really needed to dig deep here so as not to look like you just got PWNED. ;)
-
@155Millimeter Please don't apostrophize a plural. It makes you look stupid and is an insult to the language. Quit using the term "Russian parts". The term you are struggling to find is FOREIGN PARTS COUNT. The foreign parts count on a Saiga 12 taken out of sporting configuaration can be no more than 10. As you already stated, the foreign parts count of a sporting configuration Saiga 12 is 14.
If you have non-Russian foreign parts on it, it still counts as FOREIGN PARTS.
-
Don't forget to let us know your all-knowing opinion on how many russian parts you believe are on the Saiga 12 in it's factory configuration...
Even though I doubt we will get that answer... ;)
-
The reason why the "Conversion Nazi's" refuse to answer the question when asked by a new guy on whether or not his Saiga 12 is 922r Compliant or not is simple...
The "Conversion Nazi's" refuse to answer because truthfully they themselves are not 100% sure, without a shadow of a doubt on fully understanding 922r.
922r is a very complicated law, that the BATFE could easily stretch to their likings should they ever pick and choose to do so against anyone...
-
I know a few things when it comes to the Saiga 12 dude... And my knowlege comes with no thanks to the "Conversion Nazi's" either, I had to learn it all myself, because the "Conversion Nazi's" always refuse to reply when any new Saiga 12 owner posts a question to them such as this one:
"Is my Saiga 12 922r Compliant?"
(Complete silence with crickets chirping in the background.)
-
Just the response I would expect from a typical "Conversion Nazi"
Being very vague, and unspecific...
Wasn't I right about the Saiga 12's coming factory configuration with only 14 Russian parts...?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........!?
Never mind we all know the "Conversion Nazi's" never want to be specific and answer any questions, so I understand why you will post vague...
BTW, My Saiga 12 is "ALSO 100% LEGAL" under 922r Compliance... ;)
-
@155Millimeter How did you quote me as saying "20 Russian parts?" from "possible 20 countable parts under the law." That would be the FEDERAL law that lists all the parts that maked up a firearm. As you so astutely pointed out, the S12 has fewer than 20.
It's only a federal law. Ignore it if you want. MINE IS COMPLIANT. The legal repercussions are on the person in violation of the law.
I am not a HYPOCRITE, just someone that knows how to READ and WRITE.
-
Get used to the "Conversion Nazi's"...
I find them completely hilarious myself.
The fastest way to pin point a "Conversion Nazi" is to post to them:
"Is my Saiga 12 922r Compliant?"
YOU WON'T HEAR A PEEP FROM THEM! THEY WILL REMAIN QUIET AS A MOUSE, AND WILL REFUSE TO REPLY BACK TO YOU FOR FEAR THAT THEY MAY BE WRONG AND GIVE YOU FALSE ADVICE CAUSING LEGAL REPROCUTIONS THAT MAY FALL BACK ON THEM!
So they run around asking you instead "Are you 922r compliant?" LOL!
Are you 922r compliant?

@leadsled213 No pistol grip or collapsible stock, so it's 922r compliant right from the factory.

@TheNandor Once you go over a 5 round capacity you take it out of a sporting configuration. Then you cannot have more than 10 foreign parts. You need to find out your foreign parts count. Your local BATFE Office would be extremely happy to help you. Please resolve the issues and quit posting videos with comments that put us legal Saiga owners in peril. We dodged one bullet and here you are giving them another one. Visit the Saiga 12 forums.

@leadsled213 Maybe you should be reading the forums you mention. The 5 round limit is only on fixed magazines. The detachable magazine on the Saiga 12 counts as 1 evil feature with no mention on capacity limit.
TheNandor 3 months ago
@TheNandor WOW.....you truly have no clue do you? Do a quick Google search. A magazine counts as 3 of the possible 20 countable parts under the law. These are the body, follower, and floorplate. A pistol grip does not count because it never came with one. Google 922r and see how truly stupid you are. " Evil features"? WTF are you talking about? The Study on the importation of shotguns? That's not law and has been quashed by the Congress.
leadsled213 3 months ago
@leadsled213 sigh. i live in an awb state so yes, evil features matter. and yes, enough parts have been swapped out to stay at the 10 part limit. The american magazine is 3 just by itself not to mention the parts forward of the magazine I've swapped.
