@battery300 Ya looks like it huh. I've been between turn 3 and 4 and watched a car fly into the fence. It actually caught it. stuck in the fence. It was re-enforced with 1/2 inch cable ta help. WoO's are probably about 20 mph faster than what I saw though. although the WoO's only weigh 1250, where as the sprint car I saw weighed in at about 1500. Probably not a good place to sit during WoO race lol

@ral6917 Yes it is. I have been at this track almost every Saturday since I was 5. I live 30 minutes away. The Outlwas have provided some amazing shows here. Sometimes the cushion is right at the wall. One year Haudenschild came out of turn 4 and hopped the right sides tires on the wall an rode it past the flagman, never let off!

World of Outlaws Sprint will be at the Famed Belleville Highbanks Friday June 3rd. 5/8 mile, insane banking. Eldora has nothing on Belleville. Wide open all the way around, he who lifts is 1st loser. 140mph+ sideways! Has to be seen to be believed.

I-55 speedway is awesome...!! Aussie and NZ need a track built to the same specs so the sprintcars can really show their stuff... 117mph average lap speed on a 1/3 mile oval... just insane...
