This isn't just Sun Ra's "A Call For All Demons", which is a spacey blues. It starts out with Sun Ra's "Saturn", which was in his book since the mid-1950s. "A Call For All Demons" starts just before 4 minutes into the video.

i missed the reference to kyoto, but i'm not surprised from knowing and working with japanese musicians that this might be the case

Wow, percussion instruments, costumes and everything! This is a real Sun Ra cover band. Very good!

Kyoto is in Japan, so they're probably mostly Japanese.
