In fact Lebrons percentage should be higher, but his inability to hit a consistent jumpshot hurts his field goals. Also Kobe shoots the 3 ball a lot more than Lebron, shooting the 3 hurts your percentage a lot. You can be 50% from the field, while being 40 percent from the 3. and even shooting 40 percent is good from the 3. Your average would still round out to be 45 %.

the thing is, Kobe does a lot on that team that are not seen on the stat sheet. When people compare stats of his with stats of LBJ's is really retarted, they are of diff positions.. most of LBJ's shots are power layups and dunks close to the rim, so of course he will have a higher average, and a 2% higher average isnt that much, that means kobe misses half a shot more than LBJ

Also we know Kobe has a series of impossible shots and moves that a few others can even atempt, his game as of now is completely flawless. the stats really do not tell everything. For Kobe is the engine that powers this winning laker team, on offense and defense, we have not yet seen a team revolve around a guard so well since MJ. whatever he needs to do to get his team a "w".
