I have a version I did myself of the MCS in 1999. YouTube won't let me post it since it's over 10 minutes. Check it out here: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus...

They're actually getting the ball moving on restoring her. The owner is on board and volunteers cleaned the interior this past summer. This winter the owner is having the asbestos removed so that volunteers can begin on the exterior in the spring, and in a few weeks, there should be giant red and green Christmas displays in the giant arching window areas of the MCS' entrance.
Spring/summer they should have the new wrought-iron decorative security fencing installed. Afterwards, they're planning to instal LED accent lighting, establish power sourcing needed for pumping the basements, and then replacing the windows with high-strength Lexan acrylic glass.

Thanks for posting this. Sad to see the building before it became unsaveable. Also sad to think that local reporting of this quality probably isn't being made very often these days.
