Greetings USA, We are Anonymous.
We have learned a great deal surfing the waves of these digital seas, especially about how we all must progress together to fight a greater evil. We have all now witnessed the illegal surveillance that is being forced upon us. This surveillance must stop.
With the IRS scandal and the surveillance of Associated Press and Fox News our government is tyrannically out of control. Recently information has been leaked about a system called Prism, in which the NSA uses every major network to monitor US citizens connected to the internet. You, the citizens of the United States are deemed a threat and must be monitored according to the government. The 4th Amendment to your Constitution which protects your privacy has been bypassed.
This upsets us, we are not happy.
We call upon the people of the United States of America to come together and lock arms across the spectrum of political beliefs so that we are one. The issues we struggle with across party lines are minimal compared to what is taking place at the top positions in your government. The two parties in which they let you vote for have banded together to enact extreme measure of their own privacy while destroying yours, secure in knowing your every move and motive by spying on you.
We call out to the citizens of the USA to reach out across the divide of party lines and embrace each other as a nation of equals to combat the face of tyranny together. Allied together we will win this struggle, divided against one another we will fall.
This Independence day instead of celebrating your independence from Briton, join together as one and fight for your independence from a forming police state and tyrannical rule. Both parties in Congress, and the Senate are guilty of letting the illegal surveillance of its citizens go unchecked.
In light of the compliance by various technology and telecommunication companies, Anonymous calls for a national and international boycott of the companies involved in letting the NSA spy on the US citizenry.
We also call upon all people within government or those who have access to classified material who find the breach of our constitutional rights as upsetting as we do to leak any information to the public by the use of media sources or Anonymous.
The government wants all of your information; it keeps us all in the dark about what it does behind the veil of secrecy. Isn't it time we found out what they are doing?
Stand together, or hang separately. The path you now choose will affect all future generations that come after us.
