No, it due to the Oceanic Whitetip's ecological niche. Namely, these sharks captialize on whatever resources are available. When people are stranded in maritime disasters, they are helpless and defenseless...and quite edible. If anything, the sharks are likely drawn to the commotion of the sinking shark. The "aggression" comes during feeding frenzies. These sharks are ruthless, ruthless sharks.

Surely it would attack during a crash or sinking due to the amount of ferrous materials and the amount of blood being spilled, rather than down to the alleged aggression it has?

@attaqproductionz The correction probably isn't needed, but the ship sunk was the U.S.S. Indianapolis, a Cruiser, not an Aircraft Carrier.

The famous story of when the US Air Craft Carrier sunk during WW2 (it was a secret mission so no one knew where the ship was let alone that it had sunk) Anyways The Oceanic White Sharks came in thousands and devoured hundreds of soldiers very horrible story look it up. They even talk about the story in Jaws
