  • Good information thanks!! from Kenya the safari rally country!!

  • @kUNCHRIS thanks, Great memories!

  • Cool tip on suspension fitting to improve car handling characteristics.

  • @mzdalvr thanks for your feedback it helps us know what people like and learn :)

  • Many people change their oil (and filter) every 5-6000km. Using this as the preface for my question, how would you describe/compare the difference in ability to filter impurities between an Sti and Wrx oil filter when doing oil (Mobil 1 5W-30) and filter changes every 12,000km instead? Very interested to hear your professional opinion on this matter.

  • @lauriejamesmackeson its all a balance of cost Vs benefit

we see good and BAD examples of ppl servicing their car/s. if you are happy to do a oil and filter change every 5k and use a STi filter then your engine will be MUCH better condition than someone who does a 12 k svc with a crap no name brand filter!

    I hope this helps

  • @Brettmiddleton Are you able to offer a (cheaper) alternative, but equally suitable oil (than Mobil 1 5W-30) because I would like to do 'double' changes but don't want to pay the $80-90 for oil each time. Thanks for helping out with the more simple questions regarding car maintenance.

  • lol first?
