@VanuatuTusker Totaly aggree, just adding one more obviousthing. It symbolizes the blossom of a relationship and the fall of a relationship. And of course that was the last thing he needed to build the wall. His relationship was what holded Pink from losing it. When it was obliterated by the affair, the wall was built. Its amazing, i was listening Records of Pink Floyd from 13 years old. I grew up with that music and still, i feel like they sing things from (and for) my life. I love them.

the symbolism of woman's power over man, and how she uses him. but we don't care, as long as we're getting some!

For me it's the better animed part of the movie ...
It symbolizes woman's power over man. Man and woman can fight, but woman will always destroy man (perhaps not physically but mentally and emotionally.) They court, the woman woos him with sex, they fight, she destroys him.
This is a graphic symbolism of Pink's fallout with his wife when she had an affair with the Nuclear Disarmament bloke. They fight, but in the end, it is Pink that is mentally drained to the point of collapse.
That's my take on the flowers
