John Drake and Number 6 didn't do any kissing onscreen, but Patrick McGoohan did. Here is another one. Too bad the writing is so terrible. (The Gypsy and the Gentleman, 1958).
diggerodell100i have now watched this movie several times kind of dismissing it early on, for some reason it grew on me over time, i enjoy the interaction between mcgoohan and mercouri who was 6 years his senior, they have several nice physical scenes together plus a great moment toward ending where the term slut arises she slaps him and on from there. for other kisses check out high tide at noon and the vise gift from heaven. pmg did not need physical love scenes to get his point across.
At the risk of displaying the first sign of Internet madness - answering one's own Post: I wonder if the familiarity comes from the episode in the Prisoner when Number Six refers to Number 2's black cat: Never trust a female, even the four-legged variety.
Actually it does have it's moments. The first scene between Melina and McGoohan has him remarking to the effect, that he prefers horses to women, as horses can be relied upon.....not very gallant but perhaps a sign of a damaged personality? I'm sure that quote is in some Western movie or other....who copied who?
I hope his wife appreciated how much sex he wasn't having.

Wasn't he so distraught about kissing a woman on screen that he got drunk and crashed into something? What a weird man.
