  • @TheTeemaster Yeah, Wyman co-wrote it, but it was never supposed to be a Stones song; it was always intended to be an original End-track. I think the "Stones-version" is actually just the basic track to this (the only version). Anyway, this is really good. Sounds an awful lot like Syd Barret which of course is a good thing; Syd and Lennon/McCartney were clearly the brightest shining stars of the British psychedelic scene [..no offense Bill, me myself always secretley loved "In Another Land".;)]

  • this sounds an awful lot like sgt pepper

  • Great track indeed. :)

  • @hellyfornication

Not... droning enough for Barrett, But I DO see were your coming from :3

I agree though, not a bad thing at all!

  • singer sounds like syd barrett. and that's not a bad point

  • the end began life as the innocents..the band members were nicky graham keyboards.. vocalist dave brown.collin griffen guitarist sax joe horton another saxaphonist and roger groom drummer...they had been the backing group for mike berry who at the time was part of joe meeks stable in the early 60...by 1965 the had come into contact with the rolling stone and bill wyman,,but they never charted

  • Bonjour, vous aimez les sixties ? écoutez et podcastez mon émission "le super son des 60's" sur le site de plumfm. You like the 60's ? please, listen and podcast my broadcast "le super son des 60's", connect to "plumfm". Salut et faites gaffe au rock and roll.

  • i love psychedelic and this video is fantastic!! how could you do it?? (sorry for the english)

  • Bill Wyman wrote it, together with "In Another Land" and "Loving Sacred Loving". This is very simular to the Stones-version on the Satanic-Outtakes. Wyman even sings on it, together with Ronnie Lane of the Small Faces, at least I think so. He managed and produces The End in the sixties

  • cool

  • whoa

  • Hats off to you for posting this classic slice of psych with the trippy sympathetic enhancement -- 'tis the living end, man.

  • WOOOOOOW This is the song that I put in my Ipod every day to get up & start....my favourite of the Introspection lp!!!!.Delicious video!!!

    Thanks!!!

  • This one shoulda been given the Stones' treatment and included on "Their Satanic Majesties Request," no?

  • Excellent ! :o)
