Yo Devil,

Your bike is sick.

I'm working on drags for my nightster too, but I'm not sure what size I want to use.

What size drags did you put on? Any problems with your turn signals clearing the tank? Did you keep the stock cables and lines or was there a need for shorter ones? Did you use a bigger riser or stay with the stock? I've got the green and black '08 with chrome short shots and a silver metal EGA on the back fender.

I have 27.5 inch bars with a 4 inch pull. The controls just clear the tank. The cables can be re-routed so there is not too much play in them but I have not tried that yet. I stayed with the stock riser. It still is a comfortable ride. Good luck.

Good to know. Its a great bike man, my congratulations. I was wondering if that drag would modify the excellent position of the original one. You say it is comfortable, do you recon the stock one is even more?!

Yeah, I think the stock bar position is more comfortable sitting up-right...but on the other hand I got used to the drag bars and it feels very comfortable to me now. There is an adjustment period to your body but it is not long thats for sure!

Dude your bike is sooooo sick I show my buds and they all agree that sportster is at the top of nightsters.Did tou lower your bike ,and if so how much drop and who did you go with .We have bets going.but I think the combanation of bars and pipes give it that low look.

Thanks for the comment. No I did not lower the suspension. The drag bars are lower than the standard bars so it gives it a different look. Who won the bet?
