On September 18, 2002, thousands of Cuban-Americans descended on the nation's capital to lobby the government in favor of loosening the current restrictions on travel to Cuba. This short documentary demonstrates that Cuban-Americans are not a monolithic community in favor of a hard-line stance towards Cuba. In fact, there is an ever-increasing number of Cuban-Americans that favor normalizing relations between the U.S. and Cuba.

  • WHY is a plane ticket or a phone call so expensive to CUBA?? A crappy rental car also costs 60 USD per day??? Fidel is who runs CUBA and makes money off all tourism. Cubans in the news today are now able to travel within the island???? Why can't cubans travel out side??????? Why can't Cubans enjoy internet? FREEDOM and Liberty is what we all want. ON BOTH SIDES.

  • white cubans? most of us still have family there .. and cousins .. and such so our ties to property is stil intact....

  • I hope the white Cuban's don't go back down their to re-establish an American neo-colonial empire. If Cuba was as big as China this issue would not exist.

  • Vote for Obama. Obama supports your travel rights. You have your chance now.
