  • spider sucks...

  • thanks this really helped me on decision making i had been looking at two of them the fender mustang 2 or 3 and the vox vt40 clearly see that mustang is better .

One other question what would be better the mustang 2 or 3 ?

  • i have a red special. can't wait to get a VT+!!!

  • shoud had tried a vypyr too :/

    nice videos nonetheless!

  • @guitardbucket As i said i've never owned or played through one, but i will bow to your knowledge of the product. As an owner of the Vox VT+ i feel confidant in saying to steer well clear of the amp it also is full of problems. I have also owned a Line6 spider 2 for several years and thought it was a great little amp At the end of the day we can only advise from our own experience. if i could afford it i'd be going for a good quality small 5-15 watt tube amp and a few good pedals.

  • @bignickm99 It's funny because there've been a massive amount of problems with the Vypyr series. I myself owned four of them... two right after they first came out, two more about a year-and-a-half later. Every single one of them was incredibly buggy. Some wouldn't turn on sometimes, some would randomly turn off. Some had a high-pitched hiss and whine, some popped and crackled. And all this was with the latest firmware.

  • @guitardbucket Why is that funny? the Vox VT+ is plagued with problems, i've only heard good things about the Vyper (i've not played one admittedly), and i know the Line6 is a good amp as i used to have a Spider2.

  • @bignickm99 I think it's funny how this gentleman warns away the other gentleman from Vox because of problems, and then turns around and directs him towards a Vypyr. Oy.

  • @reaperman1994 Seriously, Don't do it!!!! Go on to the Vox forums and you'll see, so many people are having problems with all the new Vox products the VT+ in particular.

Go for the Line6 or a Peavey Vyper.

You will regret it of you go for the Vox.
