http://www.1stoptutorials.com - In this tutorial we are gong to get in to the scary css coding. We will need to get a new html and css file ready. We will start by making a div tag and call it header, then in css we will call upon that header and this will allow us to add the banner. Do not be scared of css it is not as hard as you make think in fact it is one of the easier languages to understand. Any probs let me know

  • Hey djmurali32, if it is pink that is because you have the wrong brackets. Make sure you have these brackets {} not these ()

  • Quick Q:

I love the idea of attaching the CSS style sheet easily and have done so in a design I am working on.

Problem - It seems to work in Safari in Chrome, but IE and FireFox don't seem to respond to it at all.

Noticed - It seems that somehow I still have some CSS occurring within the template, but erasing it didn't help.

Also, I can only get the desired results in IE6/8 or FireFox8 if I manually code what I want (i.e. font, color, etc.) into the template itself.

    Any help would be great!

  • THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH ! THANK YOU

  • awesome man....u rock!!

  • You sir have earnt a subscribe. Please teach me at my University?

  • Dude in the timeline at 1:52 you say "When I'm finished, fingers crossed hopefully it will look like this" and if you pause the screen and look at the code you can see that his code is in tables. lol Tables are the old fashion way of building websites and quite frankly it's very unprofessional.

  • Yea while you where flying through you said my computer would do some stuff like bring up the files and guess what words i mean....it did none of that... Im disscuraged i just want to slap my letters and link it to another page that looks the same. have a few little simple animations when i link the buttons....and have an image page that when i click on the pictures they come up full screen have a log in page where people can donate money so i can hire someone else to do this bullshit.

  • Wow, Very clear, informative, enthusiastic and explained in simple terms. Some of these other CSS tutorials make it sound like rocket science and are very boring or good to look at if you can't sleep.

Even though what your doing is quite complex but the way you teach is so easy to understand. Good Job and Thank you, can't wait to get started myself...
