I got a newer version of the archos 5 called the archos 48, Its basically the same thing except for no gps app. Its my first android too.

i saw in this video that you were trying to play the youtube video and it displayed "cannot play the file". I am receiving the same message in my device.... in the below comment i find that you've mentioned you were finally able to pplay youtube video... can you please let me know how could you do that?
