Coming from a guy, the one thing I make take slight issue with is the drinking thing. I completely agree that a woman should stay in control of herself in that department on a first date, no question there. The thing is, if you're at a classy place and the gentleman orders a nice bottle wine, it might be rude not to have a little. So unless you're a total "light weight" in the drinking department, in that case, have one glass and then you don't have to have any more if you don't want.

Depends on what your standards are. If they're healthy and reasonable, WAIT FOR IT! And in the meantime, make yourself live up to some high standards, too! :)

I like the cell-phone-advice very much. Many people seem to see this in an other way. Once I was on a date and I got a call, as I didn't turn off my cell-phone. But I didn't answer the call. The lady asked me, why I didn't answer it, and I just said: "No, I'm here with you, I'm engaged, he can call me later." Well, she seemed rather irritated thenflattered. But I would do it this way again. It's a question of manners, I believe.
