This is wonderful! I never realized how much charcoal was used! 20,000 acres is a lot of wood and thats only in one day! This is a great project!

Nice soundtrack. But what is going on the video? We see something like a giant press that closes and opens, then some smoke/steam. Aside from that, what with the low res and strange blurry color tone, can't tell what on earth is happening.

Thanks for the question. This is a four cavity tool (injection molding). The critical components of the LuciaStove were designed to be injection molded. Each cycle represents the creation of four components. The steam you see is actually cooling and lubricant. At the very end you get a glimpse of the four newly made disks connected by a sprew (the branch like bits of aluminium which are removed during clean up, kind of like airplane model kits)
