Truly inspiring for someone like me, suffering from the same disorder as him. I got the condition in 2006 and was diagnosed in October of that year. When i found out about Rem and that his condition had improved so much that he was actually able to restart his career and take part in the Stanley Cup, through the same treatments that i was getting, it gave me a lot of hope. Hope that wasn't wasted, because i am now able to go on 30km runs on my inline skates several times a week/feel almost normal
Rem is actually my second cousin and its really sad hearing stories abot his battle with the disease through my grandmother. He was apparantly beng made fun of by opposing players during games and the combination of that and the disease just got to be to much. But hes doing well now, captaining a team over in Finland
