@dgb111 I disagree, covering classic rock has been nothing but a great experience. There's still a huge crowd out there for the likes of Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam etc. That said, i do enjoy covering more obscure stuff. I love Soul Asylums work.

Been playing a long time myself and I started with no bloody talent to speak of but I practiced (and continue) everyday. If I had started with your voice and abilities I´d be living in Hollywood by now and be banging a supermodel. Just saying. Write some serious tunes of your own.

@jenisbetteroffdead yeah, because you didn't really took the time to listen to it, you just heard it was different and you hated it... John Mayer's an awesome artist, and both Tom Petty and John Mayer's version are awesome, they just are different.. Take the time to watch the whole "Where The Light Is : Live in L.A." album, you'll see, he's awesome! And BTW, Gareth, best cover I've ever heard of Tom Petty's version! I've been watching some of your videos, and you're awesome!
