Horn duel between Candian Pacific 2816 Empress and CP Rail 4563. As the Empress is leaving the Exporail in St-Constant, Montreal, both trains are honking at each others!

  • @trucker1290 The one on the left is CP 2816 MLW class H1b Hudson and the one on the right (red) is CP 4563 MLW M-630

  • no modern train can sound as beautiful as a steam locomotive period.

  • I swear I'm putting train horns on my truck. The kit isn't to bad priced.

  • @trucker1290 The first horn was an out of tune Leslie S3K. Before Leslie invented the RS power chambers, their horns would go out of tune without maintenance.

  • I'll always prefer horns but this is cool nonetheless.

  • As a matter of fact, I think the horn wins, because the whistle is far too shrill, and selnoid-like. At least the engineer quills the horn on the M-630
