  • Wait so, your putting in the actual gun footage against the animation frame by frame, meaning that every frame you capture of the gun... you put it against each frame of animation from the shooting and walking? Wouldn't that take a long time? What I'd do is have the all the gun footage in a movie file and just chroma key the loops in by where I want instead of doing it frame by frame. Sorry if I not making took much sense, just trying to understand what your doing!

  • @legoboy12345678 No worries and yes that's what I did. I wanted to animate them together but it didn't work with the focusing and lighting. This was really the easiest way I could come up with.

  • @legoboy12345678 Wait, after rereading your comment I want to clarify. ft2 had a lot of frames but I only had 40 pictures I used for the gun and arm footage. I looped them as I needed and placed it over the background. I just had to adjust to the background footage as according to what the action needed.

  • @ludvik4867 yes masking is much better it looks good but if u want a quick and easy crop and paste i suggest doing that oh and explosion look up on youtube (how to make a explosion in gimp) click on gimp pwnage tutorials #2: explosion effect. If that helps comment back and if it doesnt just ask him... :P

  • @ludvik4867 all you have to do is just use gimp if u have it then crop it out copy then paste it into the frame u want then move on the next ect ect
