I love Bright Eyes, don't get me wrong...but why is Oberst getting more attention than Tim Kasher? It makes no sense to me... In my personal opinion, Tim's songwriting is far superior and his voice is quite lovely.

I got to see Tim in support of his solo album over a year ago and it was amazing. After his regular set he took requests from the crowd and he jumped down from stage and talked to the drunk ass fans that came out to see him. The guy is a real class act.

I saw Tim Kasher open up for Minus the Bear last year and I don't remember if he was supporting his solo album or just with The Good Life, either way, I fell in love right away. I had never heard of him (even though I knew about Saddle Creek and Bright Eyes), and I had front row. I'll never forget it. He's great.
