Learning solo guitar techniques will open up a whole new world in your playing. You'll soon be able to play great riffs and licks by practicing the lead guitar techniques I teach you in this guitar lesson. Practice them a lot, and soon they'll become second nature. You'll be able to apply your lead guitar skills to scales, and instantly make up your own solos.

After watching this video guitar lesson, you'll:

- learn how to play hammer-ons
- learn how to play pull-offs
- learn the minor pentatonic scale
- develop your finger coordination
- learn the real power of hammer ons and pull offs

Learn these basic techniques and you'll be able to play tons of songs and improvise your own solos later on. Practice by learning songs, its loads of fun and really motivating to be able to play a solo you've been listening to for years. • I love how you keep assuring us that we'll be doing it someday if we keep practising after a couple of weeks or so and don't rush it. Lol Anyway, thanks a lot xD this is helpful!

  • @xXxIMMORTALxXx Yep, practice makes perfect, so keep on practicing and you'll get it soon ;-)

  • can i do this without baring my long finger?

  • @Laukenpauken Yes of course, thats the correct way of doing since you have more control that way, but I wanted to show the barre version just so you see that you can do this as well.

  • hey i gotta question... hmm how do u train ur finger to have more power for a hammer on

  • @anakin159 Do lots of hammer ons, but also make sure they are precise, so spot on.
