@wajidmajid That is your interpritation, other Muslims have other ideas what these words written in Arabic meant to mean. Scholars fight over them, majority start to believe in one version of the meaning but some still understand it another way etc. This will never end. You say this right now but 5 minutes some other Muslim will tell me the complete opposite as these are words in the Quran but it's left to us interprit the meaning and message of a verse.

Catholics can marry non Catholics. I don't understand what Estes is talking about here.

This porker in a jizzlam-colored suit is obviously much more interested in the 'Male Bag' than the mailbag.
I didn't know Santa Claus was a mooooooooselim.

@queenjewels5 Wonderful! I can tell you are on the right path...It is so refreshing to read about people who have found Islam to be their guide. By conversion, all your previous sins have been erased, so you can start fresh! =) Best of luck to you and your husband! God bless.

@woah455 You have no idea how this warms my heart...it has been my biggest fear of all....I'm glad to be able to continue learning about Islam with the knowledge that the more I learn the better I can inform my husband. In Shaa Allah our lives will be so much better now. Full of love and joy for all things Islam...:)

@queenjewels5 Congratulations on your conversion! We are so glad you could join us in this wonderful religion. It's different with you and your husband because you were married under a different religion, and I'm sure your husband will come to it whenever he's ready; there has to be no pressure. Just educate him and guide him the best you can and he will get there. There is no reason for you to give up your religion...He will convert when he's ready Inshallah, however long that takes. :)

I have been married for 15 years now. I have just recently converted to Islam. My husband is very supportive of this decision. However he is not ready to convert himself. I have much to learn and study at this point and don't want to give this beautiful religion up. Is there a time period I can wait or is this flat out not ok?

there is no JIHAD in THE QURAN !!! THERE IS NOT EVEN 1 MENTION OF A " HOLY WAR " IN THE QURAN , do you know what jihad means?? jihad doesnt means holy war , jihad means " to strive for " to strive for peace , to strive for justice , to strive for inner peace , that is JIHAD you know what it says in the quran about jihad ?? the biggest jihad a man can make and the most loved Jihad by God is the jihad inside your heart ...
